Saltice – Pop-up Paper Sculptures as Stage Sets for a children’s opera
I have created five pop-up paper sculptures for the children’s opera ‘SALTICE – a fairy tale of salt and ice’ by composer Ruben Zahra.
The original works in book size (approx. 46 cm x 32.5 cm when open) are presented live on stage by the children. In addition, video recordings of the pop-ups are projected on a large scale onto the stage backdrop.
The play celebrated its world premiere on February 24, 2024. For more information, please visit the following link: Salzkammergut-2024-Saltice
